Memorial Day Recipe Round-Up

It's Memorial Day Weekend! While it may look different than years prior, I hope that you'll still be celebrating with delicious and healthy recipes. To help you do that here is a round-up of some of my favorite summer recipes!

Mains

If you want to grill, but are tired of plain old burgers try these Hawaiian Turkey Burgers.

Grilled Salmon with Avocado Salsa is sure to be a hit!

I feel Shrimp Boil is a great way to jump into summer.

Sides

My Lemon and Basil Grilled Salad would be a great addition to burgers, steaks, or the salmon listed above.

This Buffalo Ranch Potato Salad from Living Loving Paleo is such a fun twist on the traditional potato salad. It's great leftover too!

Broccoli Salad. This is an other classic cookout recipe from my childhood. This version is takes out the inflammatory oils.

Desserts

Danielle Walker's Gluten Free Peach Cobbler is a favorite. It's also a for sure crowd pleaser! Feel free to sub in different fruits if you can't get peaches right now.

Paleo Running Momma has an amazing No-Bake Lemon Strawberry Cheesecake, it's paleo and vegan friendly!

Just Jessie B has a great recipe for Fruit Pizza. Does it get more nostalgic than fruit pizza? This recipe is gluten free and includes a dairy free option as well.

Drinks

Clean up your margarita with these Clean Mason Jar Margaritas from The Whole Smiths.

If you are looking for a fun Mocktail, this Lemon and Lime Mocktail is delicious with the addition of mint!

I am also a huge fan of flavored sparkling waters. Be sure that the ingredients don't include any added sugars and careful with natural flavors! If the brand lists natural flavors you want to know that the brand is high quality and one that you can trust their standards. I love Waterloo, Spindrift, and Crunchy Hydration.
